Alligator Found In Car On Tulsa College Campus
“Tulsa police found an alligator inside a parked Jeep at the Tulsa Community College Southeast campus on Wednesday.
Police officers were called to the school at 81st Street and Highway 169 after security guards found a male student slumped over the steering wheel of a car.
Another student noticed the man when she went to class Wednesday morning. When she returned just before 1 p.m., he was still there and appeared to be passed out.
Inside the Jeep, officers found the alligator in a cage with a rubber band holding its jaws shut.
Police called the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife which took the 5-foot alligator to the Tulsa Zoo.
Police also took the man in the car into custody. He told police he brought the alligator to school for a class program.
